新年快乐!

Gong Xi Fa Cai

Hong Bao 记得来!LOL.

Last week was the start of Chinese New Year. Was looking forward since a month ago.
And it so happened that the first day of CNY clashes with Valentine’s Day. So practically, this CNY is full of LOVE… … … =)

The beautifully bling-ed manicure and pedicure I did before CNY.

Reunion dinner at Fu Lin Men chinese restaurant.
Dear & I still worked half day on this eve. -.-

In the past, on the first day of CNY, I would wake up in the morning and go to my paternal and maternal grandparents’ house to 拜年 and then back home.

This year, first day of CNY = paternal gram’s to dear’s uncle’s to dear’s aunt’s to maternal gram’s back to paternal gram’s to hotel re and lastly to holland. You see? 7 places in a day!

In the car while travelling from places to places.

Our Valentine’s dinner at Hotel Re.
Super worth it man, $38.80 for a 5 course meal. Where to find such deal?

Romantic table setting.

The 5 course include – goose liver + chicken of essence soup + duck breast +  1 scope of sorbet + fish + desert + coffee/tea.

My present to him – An Ellesse watch.

His present to me – Bouquet of sunflowers, box of chocolate and a diamond ring (loves).

Second day of CNY, we also went to many places and I was to shag to take photos.
I opted out going to JB, so in the morning I went to accompany paternal grandpa then to 2nd uncle’s then to Dear’s  uncle’s then back to grandpa’s then to MJ! My first gamble of CNY. LOL. But I lost. =(

As usual, third day of CNY my house became the “gambling den” for all my friends.
This is the usual once a year routine that all of us looked forward to.

B’cos we get to see each other and have fun fun fun! =D

Here’s the best part of CNY.
On the fourth day of CNY, I went to BALI!

Where everyone started work on this day. Muahahaha.

The most fabulous thing of all is that it is a company sponsored trip and we were all millionaires in rupiahs!
Haha.

Day 1.

View of the resort we are staying at.

Day 2.

Day 3.

The last day.

The beach that we had our dinner at on Day 2 is actually facing the Indian Ocean. How cool is that?

Imagine a grilled seafood dinner by the Indian Ocean, enjoying the sound of the huge wave with cool breeze and singers moving from tables to tables singing for you. How romantic~

And some beaches are actually not sand but volcanic ashes. It glitters under the sun yo!

Temperature in Bali is much higher than in Singapore. Standing out there for just 5 mins would bring you a whole body of perspiration and dehydration. However, sun tanning is good.

My first week of CNY is fulfilled and fun-filled already.
By reading this post needless for me to explain how fun-filled right.
Fulfilled b’cos  I’ve got huge amount of ang bao $. Hohoho.

I wonder how the remaining days of CNY would be (CNY last for 15 days).

Will write again soon~

XOXO

I WANT THAT TIMEPIECE FROM REEBONZ!

February 5th, 2010

Currently there’s this event at Reebonz – Share the LOVE.

You may wish to view it here – www.reebonz.com.

The event allow us to choose the product that we would like to win for Valentine’s Day.

I’m gonna tell REEBONZ loudly that I want this timepiece from Skagen!

Here I’m gonna share why I want to win this:

1) I’m still having a headache about what to gift my dearest boyfriend for vday;

2) Was having first thought of getting him a watch that is formal so that he can wear it to meet client but those I like are too pricey;

3) Then Reebonz is having this contest which at first look I knew this pair of couple watch is the best gift ever for OUR FIRST VALENTINE’S DAY TOGETHER.

Please please let me win them *fingers crossed*

Night out at orchard central

February 4th, 2010

Went to Orchard Central on Tuesday night with Dear b’cos we wanted to spend the $200 worth of vouchers he won.
We walked around and he bought 2 shirts while I bought myself a dress.

We went around looking for a place to have our dinner when we chanced upon Grilled-Out.
It is located at Level 7.
Alfresco dining is my favourite. B’cos I get to enjoy nice view and natural breeze with great food.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is already fabulous due to its alfresco dining style on top of a shopping mall.
To top it up, it has got live singers!

Grilled-out offers set lunch and set dinner apart from their à la carte menu. There are a few choices of set dinner and we have got … …

for only $38! Good deal isn’t it?
We also had … …

and our starter … …

We were both so fulfilled after the dinner. =D
Grilled-out is definitely a great place to chill out, enjoy live singing and good food (provided if you are a meat lover).

It’s been quite awhile

February 1st, 2010

I realise I haven’t been updating my blog.

Well, was really busy helping out with my family business, so nothing much to blog about too.
In case you do not know what is the family business that I’m talking about, check out the previous post here.

Met up with my primary school buds at Vivocity last Saturday. Had Jpot for dinner and went to The Queen and Mangosteen for a glass or two.
Always wanted to try Jpot and finally the chance. A nice place for steamboat and atas too. LOL.

Will be having D&D this Saturday and going for company trip to Bali during CNY.
So, more photos to upload soon~!

Last day of the year

December 31st, 2009

Another decade is soon coming to an end.

Well, as we are proceeding into a total new year with new start, what have we all done for the past year and what resolutions do we have for the coming new year?

My 2009:

The biggest change I’ve for 2009 is that, I ended my longest relationship and embarked on a new and wonderful one.

Way before that, I was still hoping that miracle would chance upon the previous relationship so that I wouldn’t have to bear any pain.

But hey, I realise I don’t need any miracle. I made the right decision and the pain was for short while only.

And right now, I don’t remember any of it at all and I’m blessed. =D

The only achievement I have for 2009 is to sign up for a degree course after 2 failed attempts in SIM. LOL.

And I’m glad that I’m almost near the end of the track.

So that’s my 2009. =)

My 2010:

I’ve only got 3 resolutions.

1) Finish my course and get my degree on time (meaning no repeats).

2) Quit smoking, so that I’m able to …

3) Save more money.

Because … … …

My only wish for 2010:

I’ll get the BTO!

And if i really did, of course I need the money for my new flat right?

Happy holidays everyone and may all have a wonderful new year ahead~
