My blog is getting boring. Haven’t been updating it regularly. Just like I bought Olympus Pen E1 and yet I’m not using it that oftenly.

Probably b’cos life is getting boring / uninteresting / discoloured (whatever emo vocab) for me.

BUT I’LL BE GOING TO HONG KONG FOR HOLIDAY IN ANOTHER WEEK!

Haha, time to break off from the emo me. Hopefully I’ll come back refresh and rejuvenated. LOL

Till then!

The Era

July 29th, 2010

Attended Jay Chou’s world tour on 24 July 2010. Don’t know why, I wasn’t anticipating it at all.

The very first concert I attended at the age of 14 was also Jay’s. I still remembered the few of us wanted to go so badly that we borrowed our teacher’s credit card to purchase the tickets (most expensive category) and then asked for money from parents to return. Childhood days.

After attending, we were like crazily talking about it for one full week before we stop totally. OMG.

But this time round, wasn’t as excited as before. Its not that the concert was boring / not entertaining / etc, but just couldn’t find the feeling I had when I was 14. Guess the 10 years difference is huge. LOL.

The concert was a hit, considering that Jay’s team actually put in effort to make people feel entertained. There’s a 3D dance at the start of the concert, and he ended it with 3 encore songs. I tried to get all hyper during the concert, waving the light sticks as he sang and screamed till I couldn’t speak properly. But nearing the end of it, I was hoping it did end faster and earlier. LOL. Probably too tired.

Anyways, I was stupid enough to forget to bring along my new DSLR. How dumb can I be?

Tried taking some photos with my phone.

Too little photos, I know.

Here’s some professional photos, including a short video of the concert.
Go ahead and have a little feel. =)

WHAT I love about JULY.

July 19th, 2010

Read my previous blog post and you will know ‘why’.

Hence I will skip the explanation and let the photos tell you ‘what’. =)

Dinner ‘celebration’ with different companions started 14 July. LOL.

15 July – Dempsy’s PS cafe [Highly recommended ;) ]

And of course, 16 July – The BIG DAY. LOL.

Spent the night at Quincy – Guest ONLY boutique hotel.

Even the cafe does not serve the public! The food not bad though.

A little swim at their pool – great view and uber relaxing atmosphere.

Dinner treat from Dear at Dozo @ Valley Point.

Making a wish~

Stretching over to the next day, 17 July.
Thanks to Dear’s “great” planning. LOL. I love you nontheless! =)

A place we all familiar with – Sentosa.

Before I end this post, some test shots I took with my new camera =D

Can you tell the difference in the above 2 photos? =P

New viceroy packaging. Interesting, but not sure for what purpose.

P.S: Those photos that you find ugly are definitely not taken by me / my camera ran out of battery at point of time and taken with alternative digicam / camera phone. *denies all fault* =P

Steak at industrial park?

July 14th, 2010

When my dad told me we did be going to Ang Mo Kio Industrial for steak, I was thinking it must be some sort of cheapo coffeeshop western kind.

Well, obviously I was wrong (otherwise I wouldn’t be blogging about it, right?)

This stall was featured in newspaper (either Shin Ming or Wan Bao) and on City Beat (a variety show on Channel 8) and its located at 5023 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2.

You’d be surprised at what this western stall has to offer… …

Wagyu beef and goose liver. Can you believe it?

They offer many other dishes too, even tom yam seafood soup. OMG~
And most importantly is all are yummy~!

They even decorated the dishes to make it more presentable (unlike those western you find in any coffeeshop / hawker).

Try it out yourself and you will know how surprising. =)

I’m a fan of Xiaxue’s blog (Singapore famous blogger). Not bcos I like her, neither do I dislike her, but I really love reading her blog. Her entries are interesting and she does advertorial for gadgets, skin care, hair care and many other stuffs (famous blogger got sponsorship).

www.xiaxue.blogspot.com

Oh well, so anyways, last month she did advertorial on Olympus E-P1 (I wouldn’t know about the existence of the camera if I did not read her blog) and after checking the camera online, I got one myself.

Eh, Dear got it for me actually, as my birthday present. =D

A small size DSLR. How cool is that.
On my way to becoming a photographer, if I managed to learn how to use it well, that is. LOL.

So, behold for the astonishing photos that will appear in my blog in future ya~

Felt like a queen yesterday.

Bcos I have got 3 people servicing me at the same time! LOL.

One doing facial,
one doing manicure,
and one more doing pedicure.

Such luxury… …

Haha. I think I deserve it. Birthday coming up this weekend, so why not pamper myself, right?

Thanks to Chloe anyways. =)

June / July

July 2nd, 2010

Oh well, half a year is gone now.

July is my favorite month, reason very simple. Bcos its my BIRTHDAY month!!!

I’ve got quite a few friends sharing the same birthday month. Just on facebook alone, there are 32 people on my friends list whose birthday are in JULY! Woah.

Anyways, so excited to see what Dear has in store for my birthday. =D

Coming up will be some pictures of what I’ve done in June.

Went to One degree 15 with Dear to meet up with his university mates for a gathering dinner. Heard that its a members only area and membership is not easy to get (one of his mates was the “designer” of the place, hence the entrance), even if you have lotsa $$. Its a cool place with damn good seafood buffet. And thanks to that mate, we enjoyed the dinner with alaskan crabs and lots of lobsters at super discounted price. He also brought us on a tour around One degree 15 and up on a yatch to have some drinks. =)

Its pretty dark there, hence the pictures are not clear.

Beerfest. First time there and well, not bad, get to taste all kinds of beer from all around the world. LOL. But didn’t get to drink much bcos I’m the chauffeur of the night -.-

Super crowded despite one ticket is $37 with only 2 free cups of beer.

Some of the beers we bought.

See how much the guys are enjoying on the beers and soccer screening. Poor oh me =P

Supporting my youngest sister in her band performance. Not too bad, though at times can hear some off tune pitch. LOL.

Try spotting her with the French horn! =D

Yep, that’s about all the updates for June. Quite boring eh? LOL. Didn’t have much activities in quite awhile. Oh, before I forgot, I managed to catch Toy Story 3 despite the hectic schedule and it was MAD AWESOME! So going to watch it AGAIN~~~ in 3D!

And before I end this post… …

TADAH~!!!

LOL. Will be back to blog soon! xoxo
